These are the best cookies I have ever tasted! This recipe is by Yellow Bliss Road.
Cheesecake Cookies
By Lynnette Scofield of William Henry Miller InnIngredients:
- 8 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment.

Beat cream cheese and butter together until fluffy and smooth (1-2 minutes).

Add sugar to the butter mixture and beat until fully incorporated and fluffy (1-2 minutes).

Beat in the eggs and the vanilla.

In a separate medium size bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until just incorporated. Don't overmix!

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets*.

Bake at 350 10-11 minutes until cookies are light in color and are not browned.

Cool on a rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

*We freeze these after we have formed them and pull out what we need. We bake them at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
